Fox Wins 11th Consecutive Wednesday Night in Key Demos

FOX's week was highlighted by strong performances from AMERICAN IDOL, THE FOLLOWING, HELL'S KITCHEN, New Girl and THE MINDY PROJECT. American Idol won its eleventh consecutive Wednesday night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. On Monday, freshman series The Following grew +4% in its second half-hour despite increased competition in the hour. FOX's Tuesday comedy and reality line-up led the network to rank No. 1 for the night among Adults 18-34 for the night. In fact, New Girl was the No. 1 comedy among Adults 18-49 on Tuesday. For the week, FOX ranked No. 2 among Adults 18-34 and No. 3 (tied) among Adults 18-49.

For the week, FOX had:

· 3 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-49: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 4), AMERICAN IDOL- Thu (No. 9) and The Following (No. 20).

· 7 of the Top 20 programs among Adults 18-34: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 4), New Girl (No. 6), AMERICAN IDOL-Thu (No. 11), The Following (No. 16), The Mindy Project (No. 18), HELL'S KITCHEN (No. 20 tie) and Bones (No. 20 tie).

· 5 of the Top 20 programs among Teens: AMERICAN IDOL-Thu (No. 3), AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 5), AMERICAN DAD Encore (No. 8), Family Guy Encore (No. 12 tie) and The Simpsons Encore (No. 12 tie).

· 2 of the Top 20 programs among Total Viewers: AMERICAN IDOL-Wed (No. 7) and AMERICAN IDOL-Thu (No. 9).
