Former White House Press Secretary Jay Carney will make his first visit to the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, tonight, July 30 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Carney, Press Secretary to President Barack Obama since Feb. 11, 2011, resigned as the President's chief spokesperson May 30, 2014, staying on through June 20. Carney, the 29th White House press secretary in U.S. history, previously served as Director of Communications for
Vice President Joe Biden from 2008 through 2011. Prior to that, he worked in the private sector as a journalist, most recently as the Washington bureau chief for Time magazine from 2005 through 2008.
Also visiting the LATE SHOW tonight, July 30 are actress Zoe Saldana, star of the highly anticipated new film "Guardians of the Galaxy," and musical guests Crash.
