Former Fox News' anchor Greta Van Susteren took to Twitter this week to reveal that she may be back on TV in the new year.
Back in September, Fox News announced that the host would not be returning to her nightly newscast and that senior political analyst Brit Hume would be taking over her time slot.
According to Deadline, reports have surfaced in recent weeks that MSNBC has been in discussions with Van Susteren.
Earlier this week, Van Susteren tweeted:
I will probably decide in one week. I have been on sabbatical long enough - either go back to work or take on some project https://t.co/PmexK5DwUT

I have signed no contract but if I do, I will move fast and get busy on tv-I am not one to sit around https://t.co/O9oycDFWQm

Today, Deadline reports that MSNBC's Joe Scarborough hinted via email that Van Susteren has been offered a time slot on his cable news network. In an email to DailyCaller, Scarborough writes: "I'm not sure the Greta deal has been confirmed, but she would certainly fill the role of a legal host that the network hasn't had on a full-time show since Dan Abrams left."
