Sixteen high-caliber chefs are fired up to grill in beautiful Napa Valley, California, competing in another epicChopped tournament event! $10,000 is at stake in each preliminary competition, and the champs will fight it out for $50,000 more. The first basket features a sea creature and a pretty, colorful veggie. A ballpark snack might throw the chefs a curveball in the entrée round. Then, some cleverly-decorated cake pops are hardly the toughest ingredient in a dessert basket that also contains a shocking, crunchy snack.

Then, there's big drama in the dessert round as one competitor attempts a last-ditch dash to the ice cream machine.

CUTTHROAT KITCHEN judges Richard Blais, Antonia Lofaso, Simon Majumdar and Jet Tila compete, and first up, three of the judges have to make a poached egg breakfast on a bench press prep station. Then, one judge has to make a grain bowl while working backwards -- "against the grain." Finally, one judge enters a soundproof chamber so they cannot hear what dessert they have to make in the final round.

The remaining six finalists have to be ready for anything, as they are tasked with baking a dish from a pantry stocked only with frozen foods. Special guest Lorraine Pascale helps hosts Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis determine whose dish makes the cut. Then it's time for one of the most festive trends out there - a Tiki party! The finalists are split into teams of three, as they must create an island-inspired menu, then take the stage for a team food demo to a crowd of partygoers. Special guest judge Anne Burrell will help Giadaand Bobby pick the best Tiki team, and send another finalist home.
Premiering Sunday, July 10th at 9pm - "Guilty Pleasures Dinner"
Guilty pleasures, everyone has them and Food Network stars love to dish on them. In this challenge, the remaining finalists join forces to create a five-course meal composed of nothing but over-the-top guilty pleasure dishes. Each finalist gives a presentation of their course, describing their unique take in all its guilty GLORY to hosts Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis, and guest judges Alex Guarnaschelli and Trisha Yearwood. One finalists' guilty pleasure dish does not hit the mark, sending another competitor home.
Premiering Sunday, July 17th at 9pm - "Food Holiday Fray"
For the next challenge, the finalists are each assigned a different holiday party - St. Patrick's Day, Cinco de Mayo, Mardi Gras, New Year's Eve, or Easter - and take turns planning and hosting their own holiday special. Four up-and-coming chefs duke it out on this rising star showdown for a chance to win up to $20,000. First, the chefs must make their breakout dish with limited ingredients. Next, the chefs must take a list of iconic breakfast items and transform it into a delicious dinner. Finally, the two remaining chefs are asked to make an on-trend dinner using a featured ingredient they select while blindfolded.
Premiering Sunday, July 17th at 8pm - "Whiz Kids"
Four culinary whiz kids compete in this special kid's edition of Guy's Grocery Games. First, the young chefs win a mandatory ingredient for an Italian dish using the first ever "Groceryland" board game. Next, the kids are tasked with creating their best lunch, but given a limited allowance. In the end, three chefs check out and only one gets the chance to go on a shopping spree worth up to $20,000.
