Food Network starts the New Year on the top tier with sweet special TEXAS CAKE HOUSE, premiering on Monday, January 9th at 9pm & 9:30pm ET/PT. Follow along as married couple, Natalie and Dave Sideserf, owners of Sideserf Cake Studio, create remarkable, hyper-realistic cakes for Austin, Texas clientele. With a fine arts background, Natalie has made a name for herself with her award-winning, intricate, extraordinarily detailed and textured cake sculptures that push the boundaries of cake design. With business booming, her husband has quit his day job in software development to help manage the operation that specializes in outside-the-box cake designs. This young couple is going all in to create incredible works of edible art, and viewers will get an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at their magical creations and what it takes to run a top-tier business with a spouse.

"Natalie and Dave Sideserf's cake creations captured our attention, as well as that of millions, when their incredibly lifelike and elaborate cakes swept the internet by storm. Their talent was simply undeniable and with Texas Cake House we are excited to share with viewers this behind-the-scenes look at how this husband-wife duo bring their uniquely detailed creations to life," said Didi O'Hearn, Senior Vice President Programming, Food Network & Cooking Channel.

The back-to-back episodes are filled with out-of-this-world cake creations that are just as awe-inspiring as they are delicious including:

"Viva Cakes!" at 9pm ET/PT
The Mexic-Arte Museum commissions a cake for their annual Museum Day. Natalie creates an incredibly real, piñata design with a fun twist, using a material she has never used before. But, making and decorating a piñata-sized cake is a taller order than the Sideserfs expected. Also Austin Pets Alive, a no kill animal shelter, orders a cake for their annual charity auction, and Natalie and Dave use their own dog, Mrs. Robinson, to create an eye-popping cake for the event.

"Animal Cake House" at 9:30pm ET/PT
Natalie and Dave Sideserf are hired by Hops and Grains, a local craft brewery, to create a special cake to pair with beer to set their business apart at the Texas Craft Beer Festival. However, the Sideserfs have never tried pairing beer and cake, and they face an additional challenge when the Texas Reptile Zoo also orders a cake for their Crocktober event. Natalie's obsession with making realistic looking cakes has her working overtime to make her dream of a snake-eating cake come to life.

Natalie Sideserf combines her love of baking with her artistic talents to create realistic, edible works of art. After receiving a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts, Natalie moved from Cleveland, Ohio to Austin, Texas with her husband Dave Sideserf and bulldog Mrs. Robinson, where she opened Sideserf Cake Studio. Natalie's cakes gained wide recognition when her lifelike Willie Nelson cake took the internet by storm, garnering millions of views. Having mastered her signature innovative approach to cake decorating, earning awards and media accolades, Natalie became overwhelmed with customer orders and brought her husband Dave Sideserf on as full-time employee.

Dave Sideserf developed a passion for food, art, and music growing up in Cleveland, Ohio, working in bar kitchens and warehouses. He graduated from college with a degree in Information Technology and went on to serve as a Director with a software company specializing in the development of online database software. Applying much of what he learned working with large corporations to the Sideserf Cake Studio brand, Dave finally left his tech career in 2016 to join Sideserf Cake Studio full time - and never looked back.

Together the fun-loving couple continues to grow their business, talents, and relationship one jaw-dropping cake sculpture at a time.

Texas Cake House is produced by Red Bandit Media, part of the ITV America group.
