First Look - SHOCKWAVE: COUNTDOWN TO DISASTER 'The End Is Near'

MarVista Entertainment is proud to bring disaster film fans - Shockwave! Produced by Autumn Federici (Circle) and Jason Cabell (Ex-Navy SEAL), this apocalyptic tale is set to debut this Fall (2017). Also, starring Rib Hillis (Haunting of the Innocent), Stacey Oristano ("Sons of the Devil"), Bruce Thomas (Army of Darkness), Ed Amatrudo and a special appearance from Rigan Machado (Assassin X), Shockwave will tear the world apart, from below. This title was directed by Nick Lyon (Isle of the Dead). And, Shockwave is one of MarVista's genre targeted films, for fans of the truly shocking.

In the film, the Earth is experiencing seismic shifts. These UNDERGROUND eruptions are caused by the Hellstorm device, designed by the Department of Defense. Now, the world is in danger as cities crumble and millions are killed. Is there time for scientists Kate and Rob to turn off the device, before the world crumbles to dust? Synopsis: When massive volcanic storms begin to spew from the Earth, geophysicist Kate Ferris must convince the Department of Defense that the storms are being caused by a deadly seismic weapon and find a way to stop the device.
