Outlook: Icons Revealed premiered Thursday, Dec. 4 at 10pm ET with Olympic gold medalist and skier Julia Mancuso. Host Pat Parnell drops in to spend time with Mancuso at her Maui home where she escapes the rigors of professional skiing. This new original in-depth interview series will profile athletes, musicians and leaders of Outside's world. Additional icons include America's Cup skipper Jimmy Spithill, climber Alex Honnold, kayaker Steve Fisher, singer/surfer Donavan Frankenreiter and more. "We envisioned Outlook as a modern take on the Biography series with contemporary story angles on contemporary subjects. It's about the relevance of each person in their space: what motivates them and how they have ultimately achieved the success they have," said Rob Faris, Senior VP, Programming and Production at Outside Television. The Outlook premiere will air on the second day of a 10-day free preview campaign by Cox Communications to promote their Sports Pak 2 tier.
