Jennifer Lopez Pays Tribute to Selena at 2015 BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS Tonight

Beloved Tejano singer Selena would have turned 44 years old today. In a touching memorial to the Queen of Tejano music, international superstar Jennifer Lopez will perform a musical tribute to Selena at the 2015 Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm.

The longest-running and most prestigious awards show in the Latin music world will be produced and broadcast live by Telemundo tonight, April 30 at 7pm/6c from BankUnited Center at the University of Miami in Florida. Selena Quintanilla-Perez, better known as Selena, was a singer, songwriter, actress, and fashion designer. Her contributions to music and fashion made her one of the most CELEBRATED Mexican American entertainers of the late 20th century. Billboard Magazine named her the "top Latin artist of the '90s", and the "best selling Latin artist of the decade". To date, Selena has sold over 10 million albums in the U.S. alone, according to Nielsen Music. She garnered seven No. 1s on Hot Latin Songs, and holds the record for most No. 1s on Top Latin Albums than any other female - having placed seven titles at the top.

The Billboard Latin Music Awards presented by State Farm, hosted by actress and TV host Gaby Espinoand Mexican music singer Pedro Fernandez, will also feature performances by Afrojack, Alejandro Sanz,Ana Gabriel, Carlos Santana, Carlos Vives, Daddy Yankee, Natalia Jimenez, J Balvin, Juanes, Julion Alvarez y Su Norteño Banda, Lucero, Roberto Carlos, Romeo Santos and Wisin.

Topping the list of this year's finalists are Romeo Santos (21 entries), Enrique Iglesias (19), J Balvin (12),Marc Anthony (7), Drake (7), Descemer Bueno (6), Gente de Zona (6), Julion Alvarez y Su Norteño Banda (6), Farruko (6) and Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizarraga (6).
