The first image of indie screen darling and frequent TV presence Rose McGowan appearing in a new role on ABC's fairy tale-themed series Once Upon a Time has been revealed.
In the episode, titled "The Miller's Daughter" (Season Two, Episode 16) McGowan portrays the younger version of the Queen Of Hearts, Cora, played by recognizable screen star Barbara Hershey.
It seems clear to see from this visual tease that red certainly does wonders for the Queen Of Hearts, long before she even was aware of her fate.
Also, if this image is any indication of the story being enacted in the episode, young Cora seems ready to sign away not merely her freedom, but her future, in dealing with the dastardly, if misunderstood, Mr. Gold (aka Rumpelstiltskin).
The highly anticipated origins episode is scheduled to air March 10.
