Last night, four acts advanced past The Divisional Finals on NBC's "World of Dance" Season 2. These acts will compete in the World Final on September 12.

Charity & Andres

Division: Junior
Hometown: Springville, UT

Style: Contemporary

Members: 2

Age: 17

Performance:

Song: "Castle" by Halsey

This duo has been dancing together since they were eight years old as ballroom dance partners. Charity and Andres share more than just a love of dance- they come from parallel backgrounds, as their mothers both own dance studios less than 20 miles away from each other.

S-RANK

Division: Upper Team

Hometown: Los Angeles, CA

Style: Hip-Hop

Members: 14

Ages: 13-27

Performance:

Song: "Gas Pedal" by Sage the Gemini

S-Rank's leader, Melvin, created the group after competing on the last season of "World of Dance" with Chapkis Dance Family. The first-ever US crew to win the adult division at Hip-Hop International's World Championship in 2017, S-Rank is comprised of some of the best dancers around the west coast from various dance backgrounds.

Season 1's highest-scoring Junior Team is back and even bigger after a whirlwind of a year and a brush with stardom! The Lab has added five new members so they can be more dynamic, and add bigger blowups, better tricks, and incredible stunts.

Michael Dameski

Michael's career hit a high in 2008 when he starred as Billy in the musical "Billy Elliot" on Broadway, and he later went on to win "So You Think You Can Dance" in Australia. He's hoping "World of Dance" will be his next big break. When he was six years old, he entered his first dance competition "The 2001 Australian Dance Idol" Program, and without any formal dance training, placed in the top ten.

NBC's hit dance competition series "World of Dance" is led by a judging team of extraordinary dance superstars - Jennifer LOPEZ (who also serves as an executive producer), Derek Hough, NE-YO and host/mentor Jenna Dewan.

The 16-episode series from Universal Television Alternative Studio and Nuyorican Productions will give dancers the platform to showcase their talents and the opportunity to receive a life-altering grand prize of $1 million.

In partnership with preeminent global dance brand World of Dance, the series brings the world's elite dancers together to compete in epic battles of artistry, precision and athleticism. Solo dancers will compete against duos and crews in an unlimited range of dance, including hip-hop, popping, locking, tap, ballet, break dancing, ballroom, stomping and more.

The contestants are handpicked from qualifying events around the nation and thousands of online submissions. New this season, the competitors are DIVIDED into four divisions: Junior (17 years old and under, 1-4 dancers), Junior Team (17 years old and under, 5-15 dancers), Upper (18 years old and older, 1-4 dancers), Upper Team (18 years old and older, 5-15 dancers). Our panel of experts score the acts using a precise point system developed by World of Dance, using the following criteria: Performance, Technique, Choreography, Creativity and Presentation. The competition consists of five rounds: Qualifiers, Duels, The Cut, Divisional Final and the World Final. In the first four rounds, dancers only compete within their division, but in the World Final - the winner from each division will compete against each other for the grand prize.
