Finale of Showtime's ACTION Airs This Sunday

SHOWTIME'S new documentary series ACTION follows the biggest gambling day of the year - SUPER BOWL LIII - in its finale on Sunday, April 14 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Professional gamblers, handicappers, polarizing consultants and more place wagers on the big championship game. Major sports leagues begin to embrace the once taboo gambling industry as legalization expands, "prop bets" become popular, and a final look at the social and economic cost/benefit of sports gambling.

ACTION is the latest in a series of culturally significant unscripted programming from Showtime Sports. The series is directed and executive produced by Luke Korem (Dealt) and executive produced by Andrew Fried, Dane Lillegard and Jordan Wynn from Boardwalk Pictures (Chef's Table, Last Chance U) as well as executive produced by David Check, who also serves showrunner of the series. Additional titles in THE LINEUP include DISGRACED, which won the 2018 Sports Emmy® Award for Best Documentary, the multi-part series SHUT UP AND DRIBBLE, and BIPOLAR ROCK 'N' ROLLER.
