The man behind the Vine videos of Ryan Gosling eating cereal is turning to zombies for his next project.
Filmmaker Ryan McHenry recently launched a Kickstarter in hopes of crowd-funding ZOMBIE MUSICAL, which, it turns out, is just as it sounds: a feature musical film following the undead apocalypse.
According to the Kickstarter page, "Zombie Musical follows a group of High School friends as they band together to save their parents during a zombie apocalypse at Christmas. The story progresses through song as we follow the friends across the devastated city, with a healthy dose of zombie killing action, tongue-in-cheek humour, and young love thrown in for good measure."
McHenry has already finished the script for the film, which is based upon the original short, which managed to earn a BAFTA award. You can check it out here.
Rather than award prizes to backers, those who contribute will help McHenry and film's creative team mold the film's narrative.
