Family of Joan Rivers Reaches Settlement with Doctors; Melissa Rivers Comments

NBC's TODAY reports that THE FAMILY of Joan Rivers has reached a settlement with the doctors and the clinic where the comedian suffered fatal COMPLICATIONS during surgery. Details of the deal, including the amount involved, are confidential.

In a statement released yesterday, Melissa Rivers said: "I am able to put the legal aspects of my mother's death behind me and ensure that those culpable for her death have been responsible for their actions quickly and without equivocation."
