NBC, the only network with two primetime NFL packages, kicks off its production of Thursday Night Football this Thursday, November 3, when the Atlanta Falcons visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on NFL Network.
NBC's Thursday Night Football schedule kicks off on Thursday, November 17, as the NFC Champion Carolina Panthers host the division rival New Orleans Saints. NBC's TNF then has a four-week run of games beginning on Thursday, Dec. 1, with a blockbuster matchup as the first-place Dallas Cowboys visit the first-place Minnesota
VIKINGS at the new U.S. Bank Stadium.
Al Michaels (play-by-play), Cris Collinsworth (analyst), and Heather Cox (sideline reporter) will call Thursday Night Football for NBC. Bob Costas, a 27-time Sports Emmy winner, will serve as the host of the pregame show and will be joined at the game site by Hall of Fame coach Tony Dungy and two-time
SUPER BOWL champion Rodney Harrison. This week's Football Night in Tampa will be live on location at Raymond James Stadium.
Mike Tirico (play-by-play) and Doug Flutie (analyst) will call the Dec. 17 and Dec. 25 games, due to schedule conflicts for Michaels and Collinsworth.
Sam Flood is executive producer of
NBC Sports and NBCSN. Fred Gaudelli is the executive producer of NBC's
