Marvel's Falcon and Winter Soldier will team up for a potential limited series, according to Variety.
Malcolm Spellman has been tapped to write a series featuring the two superheroes, which is currently in development for Disney's upcoming streaming service. Marvel and Disney declined to comment on the news.
Falcon and Winter Soldier have been in many of the Marvel films to date. The characters are played by Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan respectively.
Spellman was a writer and co-executive producer on the FOX series "Empire" and he wrote the screenplay for the feature film "Our Family Wedding."
This news comes after Variety reported that Marvel and Disney were prepping multiple limited series centered on characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe who had yet to appear in their own standalone films.
The series on the Disney streaming service will be produced by Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige.
