According to Boxofficemojo.com, Lionsgate's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Disney's Frozen broke a slew of box office records over the Thanksgiving Weekend and together, earned $200 million for the five-day time period.
Walt Disney Pictures' FROZEN features the voices of Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, Santino Fontana and Alan Tudyk and original songs from Tony winner Robert Lopez ("The Book of Mormon," "Avenue Q") and Kristen Anderson-Lopez ("In Transit," "Winnie the Pooh"), and an original score by Christophe Beck ("The Muppets," Oscar-winning short "Paperman").
In the big-screen comedy adventure FROZEN, fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an Epic journey--teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven--to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter.Disney's THOR: THE DARK WORLD took in an additional $11.1 million, bumping its total to $186.7 million, while Universal's THE BEST MAN HOLIDAY grossed another $8.4 million, raising its cumulative domestic total to $63.4 million. Open Road's HOMEFRONT, with Jason Statham and James Franco, debuted this weekend to a meager $6.9 million.
