FOX Sports, in its 22nd consecutive season of Major League Baseball coverage, sets its schedule for the 2017 MLB season on FS1, the FOX broadcast network, and FOX Deportes. In addition to FOX Sports' regular season game telecasts, the network again features baseball's jewel events with its exclusive presentation of the 2017 All-Star Game from Marlins Park on the FOX broadcast network, as well as the American League Division and Championship rounds on both FS1 and the FOX broadcast network, and culminates with its exclusive presentation of baseball's 113th WORLD SERIES airing on the FOX broadcast network.
The national broadcast schedule includes a minimum of 72 game telecasts across
FOX and FS1, highlighted by over 47 appearances by teams that participated in the 2016 postseason. In addition to
FOX Sports' national baseball presence,
FOX Sports' Regional Networks offer more than 2,260 games and carry exclusive partnerships with 15 teams: the Angels, Braves, Brewers, Cardinals, Diamondbacks, Indians, Marlins, Padres, Rangers, Rays, Reds, Royals, Tigers, Twins and Yankees - once again positioning
Fox Sports as the leading television home of Major League Baseball both locally and nationally.
FOX Deportes, the first and longest-running Spanish-language sports network in the United States, carries 30 regular season game telecasts in addition to coverage of the American League Division and Championship Series as well as the World Series.
All games carried on the
FOX broadcast network and FS1 are streamed live via the
Fox Sports GO app for all subscribers of participating video providers.
FS1 broadcasts a total of 39 regular season games, beginning with an American League East battle between the New York Yankees and Tampa Bay Rays, Wednesday, April 5 at 7:00 PM ET. The
WORLD SERIES Champion Chicago Cubs make their 2017 debut on FS1, Saturday, April 29 at 4:00 PM ET as they travel to Boston to take on the Red Sox from Fenway Park.
The
FOX broadcast network carries 33 regular season games, beginning with primetime coverage of the New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs, Saturday, May 6 at 7:00 PM ET from Chicago's historic Wrigley Field. Regionalized primetime coverage of three games every Saturday begins on Saturday, May 20 leading into the 88th
MLB ALL-STAR GAME from Marlins Park in Miami on Tuesday, July 11 live on FOX. Due to potential playoff implications, matchups, times and network(s) for the final two Saturdays of the regular season are to be determined.
