FOX has ordered additional 22-episode seasons of its animated veterans FAMILY GUY and AMERICAN DAD. The news - first reported by Deadline.com - takes them each through the 2013-14 season.
The network previously locked up "The Simpsons" through the 2014-15 season back in October; while "The Cleveland Show" got the greenlight for a fourth season last May; and "Bob's Burgers" was given a full second season late last year.
Not so lucky was "Allen Gregory," which got the axe in January, while the fate of "Napoleon Dynamite" remains up in the air. Here's how their numbers stack up for the season to date:
· "Family Guy" - 3.1/7 in adults 18-49; 6.1 million viewers
· "The Simpsons" - 3.0/8 in adults 18-49; 6.5 million viewers
· "Napoleon Dynamite" - 2.4/6 in adults 18-49; 5.1 million viewers
· "American Dad" - 2.3/5 in adults 18-49; 4.7 million viewers
· "Allen Gregory" - 2.1/5 in adults 18-49; 4.3 million viewers
· "Bob's Burgers" - 1.9/5 in adults 18-49; 4.0 million viewers
