The FOX network has tabled its plans to bring back I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER as part of its June lineup, network sources have confirmed. The series, which was put on hiatus in March, had been set to return on Sunday, June 3 at 7:00/6:00c with back-to-back episodes for three weeks - completing its 13-episode run.
A recent episode of the series only earned 3.6 million viewers and a 1.4 rating among adults aged 18-49. The comedy starred Jaime Pressly and Katie Finneran as single moms, best friends - and former nerds - who fear their privileged and overly indulged daughters are turning out just like the mean girls who picked on them in high school.
FOX will now air repeats of animated comedies "American Dad" and "The Cleveland Show" in said time periods. The network will also plug additional repeats of "30 Seconds to Fame" into the Saturday, 12:00/11:00c slot, which was set to feature "Daughter" encores beginning June 2.
