FOX has pulled its freshman comedy "Sons of Tucson" from its Sunday lineup, effective immediately.
"American Dad," the show it replaced, will reassume the 9:30/8:30c slot this Sunday, April 11.
"Tucson" however will return on Sunday, June 6 in a new time period - 7:30/6:30c. Leading into the half-hour will be "'Til Death," which is being cut to one episode per week.
The Tyler Labine-led comedy posted a series-low 3.13 million viewers last night albeit behind repeats of FOX's animated comedies. While paired with "Family Guy" originals, "Tucson" averaged 4.18 million viewers and a 1.77 rating among adults 18-49, off 39.24% and 50.42%, respectively, from said lead-in (6.88 million viewers, 3.57 rating among adults 18-49).
