FIXER UPPER's Joanna & Chip Deliver Record-Breaking Records for HGTV

FIXER UPPER, the HGTV series featuring married couple Chip and Joanna Gaines as they help home seekers buy fixer-uppers and transform them into dream homes, shattered multiple ratings records for the network on Tuesday, January 12, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Tuesday night's episode was one of the top 15 telecasts in HGTV history and allowed FIXER UPPER to notch a series high rating of 1.44 among viewers P25-54. This was the highest rating on HGTV in six years and helped the network average a 0.94 P25-54 rating for the night. Tuesday also was the fourth highest-rated night in network history among P25-54 ratings. In addition, more than five million total viewers tuned in to watch Tuesday night's episode. Its strong performance helped HGTV reach nearly 9 million viewers overall during prime time.

As far as upscale viewers, Tuesday's FIXER UPPER episode also was a stellar performer. It ranked as the #1 cable program among W25-54 and upscale W25-54, and was the #2 cable program among P25-54 and upscale P25-54. Overall, HGTV was ranked as the #1 cable network among W25-54 and #2 among P25-54 for the night.
