FIRST LISTEN: Aww! Macklemore Debuts Music in Honor of Newly Born Daughter

Rapper Mackemore announced today that he and his wife, Tricia Davis are the first-time parents of a daughter named Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty, born May 29th.

In honor of the exciting news, the artist debuted a new song on the band's official website titled "Growing Up (Sloane's Song). The tune, produced by Ryan Lewis, features hot recording star Ed Sheeran and was written by himselff, Lewis, Sheeran; J. Karp, O. Arunga, and J. Rawlings.

He writes of the new music:

Our daughter, Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty was born 2 months ago on May 29th. There is nothing like the joy and happiness that comes from bringing a baby into this universe. She has filled my heart in ways that I never knew were possible. She is the love of my life. This song is for her.
