Chiller, the ultimate television destination for "scary good" entertainment, will add the pulse-racing Fear Factor to its lineup this summer. The extremely popular 139-hour reality series will make its Chiller debut on July 24, 2010 @ 8pm, with back-to-back episodes anchoring the network's Saturday night programming each week.
Fear Factor, hosted by Joe Rogan, features a competition between contestants from across the U.S. who battle in extreme stunts designed to challenge them both physically and mentally. If a player's fear proves to be too overwhelming for him or her to complete the stunt, that player is eliminated. If they succeed, they are one step closer to the grand prize: $50,000. Fear Factor originally aired on NBC from 2001-2006.
Chiller, the recently-launched network from NBC Universal, is the only cable channel devoted to delivering viewers round-the-clock scares. Chiller's eclectic slate of adrenaline-fueled, soul-stirring entertainment includes a broad offering of films, including feature-length premieres on the first Friday of each month, international programming including cutting-edge anime and dramas (Spine Chillers, Strange), documentary and reality shows, and some of the most thought-provoking and suspenseful series ever on television (Tales from the Darkside, Twin Peaks, Millennium). Chiller is currently available in nearly 34 million homes. To learn more, visit: www.chillertv.com. Chiller. Scary Good.
