Editor's Note: FACE THE NATION's second half-hour was broadcast contiguously across 55% of the CBS affiliates.
On Nov. 23, FACE THE NATION was first in viewers and first in adults 25-54 among the Sunday morning public affairs programs. FACE THE NATION posted its largest audience since March 23, 2014, matched its season-best adults 25-54 ratings and beat its closest competitor by +800,000 viewers.
In the November 2014 sweep, FACE THE NATION was first in viewers (3.44m) and adults 25-54 (0.8/04). FACE THE NATION was first in all these measures for the third consecutive November sweep.
Season-to-date FACE THE NATION is the #1 Sunday morning public affairs program in viewers and adults 25-54.
The Nov. 23 broadcast of FACE THE NATION featured interviews with the president of the NAACP Cornell William Brooks, Rep. Mike McCaul (R-TX), Sen. Richard Durbin (D-IL), Rep. Raúl Labrador (R-ID), and Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL). Host Bob Schieffer also spoke to Susan Page of USA Today, Clarence Page of The Chicago Tribune, Michael Gerson of The Washington Post, Mark Leibovich of The New York Times Magazine, and David Ignatius of The Washington Post.
