Ewan McGregor in Talks to Play Black Mask in BIRDS OF PREY

Ewan McGregor is in talks to play Black Mask in the Harley Quinn spinoff, "Birds of Prey," according to Variety.

Huntress, Black Canary, and Harley Quinn will battle Black Mask, a KINGPIN in Gotham City's criminal underworld who has a fixation with masks. Rosie Perez is set to play Gotham City police detective Renee Montoya.

It was recently announced that Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Jurnee Smollett-Bell joined the cast as Huntress and Black Canary, respectively. Margot Robbie will reprise her role as Quinn. She also on set to produce with Sue Kroll and Bryan Unkeless.

The film will be directed by Cathy Yan and is set to hit theaters on February 7, 2020.

This film would reunite McGregor and Winstead, who starred in the third season of FX's "Fargo." McGregor was most recently seen in Disney's "Christopher Robin."
