Today, NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution announced that band leader Everett Bradley and show announcer Jon Harris have joined "The Meredith Vieira Show" premiering in national syndication on September 8, 2014. Geoff Rosen and Matthew Strauss have been named Co-Executive Producers for the daytime show which has now been sold to local stations in 98% of the U.S.
Everett Bradley who plays with Bruce Springsteen's famed E Street Band, will serve as the show's band leader. Bradley, an accomplished musician, will lead the house band and treat viewers, guests and studio audiences to a broad and fun mix of music each weekday on "The Meredith Vieira Show."
A longtime collaborator of Vieira and her husband Richard, Jon Harris has been named as the show's announcer. Harris has had a successful career as the lead spokesperson for some of the world's largest companies, serving most recently as chief communications officer for the Hillshire Brands Company. As Meredith's close friend for nearly 20 years, Harris will lend a unique point of view, sense of humor and a lot of fun to the show.
"Everett and Jon are like brothers to me and will be a great presence as we encourage guests and viewers to be brave and be their true selves," said Vieira. "They both bring an authentic kindness and a great sense of humor to our friendship that I am eager to share with our audience."
Behind the scenes, multiple Emmy(R) Award-winners Geoff Rosen and Matthew Strauss have been named Co-Executive Producers of "The Meredith Vieira Show". They join Vieira, Michael Glantz and Rich Sirop who serve as Executive Producers.

"Both Meredith and I have been privileged to have worked with them on many award-winning television programs. They both bring a unique, dynamic and innovative perspective that will enhance the entertainment value and help distinguish 'The Meredith Vieira Show' from everything else in daytime."
Rosen first teamed up with Vieira on the hit game show "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" where he was Supervising Producer. Rosen has a wide range of production credits that include "The Dr. Oz Show," "Lopez Tonight," "America's Money Class with Suze Orman" and "The Martha Stewart Show."
Strauss was part of the production team that launched "The View" in 1997, later becoming the show's Coordinating Producer. Strauss also launched "The Dr. Oz Show" where he was Supervising Producer and most recently was the Co-Executive Producer on "Katie."
Finally, the daytime show has brought on three talented Supervising Producers--Benita Alexander, Angela LaGreca and Leslie Peirez come to "The Meredith Vieira Show" with tremendous television production experience and credits that range from "Today" and "Dateline" to the "The Chew," "The View" and "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
About Everett Bradley:
Everett Bradley is a musician, singer, actor, dancer, choreographer and vocalist. Bradley plays percussion and sings backing vocals for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. He also plays the keyboard and saxophone. And he is an accomplished songwriter and playwright. Bradley was raised in Muncie, IN, before attending the University of Indiana School of Music, and in 1989, he joined John Eddie on the Jersey music scene to record and tour. Bradley has recorded and toured with legendary performers including Joey Ramone, Jon Bon Jovi, Hall & Oates, Carly Simon, and David Bowie, among others. He ventured into New York City Theater as a co-creator of the Broadway play "Swing" and was nominated for a Grammy(R) Award for his work with "Stomp." His own Everett Bradley Band plays theatrical rock, jazz and funk, and he is the creator, writer and lead character of the edgy New York holiday funk phenomenon HOLIDELIC, on tour this holiday season. Jon Harris joins "The Meredith Vieira Show" after a 20+ year career as a communications professional/media spokesperson. He has appeared on top-rated daytime shows including NBC's "Today," "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "Steve Harvey" and "Rachael Ray." Since 2009, Harris has been a featured character on Style's and E!'s top-rated reality show, "Giuliana and Bill." Harris has worked for Fortune 500 companies that include PepsiCo and Sara Lee Corporation and most recently, he was Chief Communications Officer for the Hillshire Brands Company. In addition, he is an adjunct professor at the University of Chicago where he teaches graduate classes on media and marketing. Harris has been a close family friend to Meredith Vieira for nearly two decades. He is a devoted husband to his wife Allie and father to their three children. Harris is also an accomplished singer/musician.
