Evangeline Lilly in Talks to Star in ANT-MAN?

Variety reports that Evangeline Lilly could be signing on for Marvel's upcoming ANT-MAN movie as the female lead.

Lilly would join Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas and Michel Pena in the cast. No official word on who Lilly would be playing, but Pym's (Douglas) daughter or Lang's love interest are possibilities.

The studio's latest live-action superhero adaptation is being directed by Edgar Wright from a script he co-wrote with Joe Cornish. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige will produce the film with Nira Park.

Ant-Man is scheduled to be released by Walt Disney Pictures on July 31, 2015.

Lilly last appeared in The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and will return for The Hobbit: There and Back Again. Other recent screen credits include Real Steel and the TV series Lost.
