Former DESPERATE HOUSEWIFE, Eva Longoria, is about to get animated.
Ad Age reports that the actress has officially signed on to lend her voice to MOTHER UP, a new animated original series from Hulu.
In the series, Longoria plays Rudi Wilson, "a disgraced former record exec who flees to the suburbs to give motherhood a try -- with mixed results."
MOTHER UP's first season will consist of 13 episodes, and is set to premiere on the popular digital platform and Canada's City Television this fall.
Hulu and Rogers Media are financing the series. Longoria is also on board to executive produce.
