Eva Longoria Set to Produce Drama for The CW

According to the Hollywood Reporter, actress Eva Longoria has sold a new legal drama project to the CW network.  The show, entitled, 'Vega v Vega', tells the story of a young attorney who has been forced by circumstances to go into law practice with her mother with whom she has a very rocky relationship with.  

The network has recently given the order for a script for the project which comes from Warner Bros. Television.  Yahlin Chang will write and executive produce the series while Longoria and Desperate Housewives' George W. Perkins and Sunta Izzicupo will serve as executive producers.

Longoria is best known for portraying Gabrielle Solis on the ABC television series Desperate Housewives. She received a nomination for the 2006 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance on Desperate Housewives.
