Esquire Network announces its February 2016 Programming Highlights. All programming subject to change.
ONGOING SERIES:
"Team Ninja Warrior" Airs Tuesdays @ 8pm ET/PT The physics-defying obstacle course competition
AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR hits a whole new level with Team Ninja Warrior, where for the first time ever, the mother of all obstacle courses is now built for two. ANW's Akbar Gbajabiamila and Matt Iseman host some of the greatest past Warrior competitors as they race head-to-head in a newly designed, but equally punishing, dual running course that incorporates speed, superhuman agility, skill and strategy.
"Friday Night Tykes"
Airs Tuesdays @ 9pm ET/PT
Season Three returns to Texas, where football is life, to follow youth teams from the Texas Youth Football Association. Throughout, coaches and parents discuss the valuable lessons they believe football teaches children. But in a youth league where winning means everything, the adults also grapple with questions like: How much competition is too much? Is the sport safe for young children? And at what price are we pushing our kids to win?
"Beowulf"
Airs Saturdays @ 10pm ET/PT
Based on the complex protagonist of a classic poem written between the eighth and tenth century, Beowulf takes place in a mythological place, The Shieldlands, and challenges the notions of good and evil, heroes and villains, and the rule of law against one's moral code. The drama stars Kieran Bew (DA VINCI'S DEMONS), in the lead role Beowulf; multi-award-winning actor William Hurt (DAMAGES); acclaimed actress Joanne Whalley (WOLF HALL); Ed Speleers (DOWNTON ABBEY) and David Ajala (BLACK BOX).
