Communications executive Erin Moody has been named vice-president, Communications, Freeform, it was announced today by Kevin Brockman, executive vice president, Global Communications, Disney|ABC Television, to whom she will report.
In this role, Moody will work closely with Tom Ascheim, president, Freeform, and be responsible for all strategic CORPORATE communication efforts, consumer press campaigns, awards outreach and talent relations for the business unit.

Prior to Freeform, Moody was executive director of Communications at Twentieth Century FOX Television. During her time there she led the campaigns for high-profile television series, such as "The X-Files," "How I Met Your Mother," "Family Guy," "The Carmichael Show," "24: Live Another Day," "Prison Break," Seth MacFarlane's new hit "The Orville" and the Emmy®-nominated "Genius" series from FOX 21 and Imagine Entertainment.
A significant part of Moody's career at FOX was spent in feature film publicity, where she oversaw the field strategy and execution for the Western Region for 90 studio releases, including Academy Award® and Golden Globe® winners "Avatar" and "Walk the Line," two "X-Men" films and hits "Night at the Museum," "The Devil Wears Prada" and "The Simpsons Movie." She also spent time working for director Robert Rodriguez at his Troublemaker Studios. BEYOND her communications experience, Moody spent several years in marketing roles, including positions at Vans, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Hollywood Bowl and the A.D.D marketing agency, working in ACTION SPORTS and music with artists such as Outkast, Pharrell Williams, Linkin Park and the Beastie Boys.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in pre-medical studies from Texas A&M.
