Emmy Nominee Carolyn Hennesy to Host Live Red Carpet Stream for DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS

NATAS has announced that not only will the Daytime Emmy Awards be live-streamed on Facebook and Twitter, but also fans can experience the red carpet for themselves at both the Creative Arts (Friday, April 28th) and the broadcast (Sunday, April 30th) via Facebook Live with host and Emmy Nominee, Carolyn Hennesy.

In addition, Ms Hennesy will be hosting two Facebook Live appearances from the NATAS Gifting Suites for the nominees on Saturday, April 29th. They can also follow along on Twitter and Instagram @DaytimeEmmys.

"I am absolutely thrilled and so honored to be tapped to host FB Live's red carpet coverage for Daytime Emmy weekend," says Ms. Hennesy. Adding, "The glitz, the gowns, the stress, the nerves, the gossip...'She said WHAT?' I'll bring you just as much as they'll let me...and then some!"

Carolyn Hennesy: Two-time Daytime Emmy-nominated actress Carolyn Hennesy is known for her role as "Diane Miller" on GENERAL HOSPITAL and was most recently seen as "Toni" in the hit Netflix revival series GILMORE GIRLS: A YEAR IN THE LIFE. Other major credits include "Rosalyn Harris" on HBO's TRUE BLOOD, the uber-evil Penelope Ellis, on REVENGE, "Barb" on COUGAR TOWN, and the hilariously haughty Mrs. Chesterfield in Disney's JESSIE. She also recently starred in the action-thriller BETTER CRIMINAL and just wrapped production on the female-driven horror film, ST. AGATHA. Big screen credits include CLICK, LEGALLY BLONDE 2, and TERMINATOR 3. She recently won an Indie Series Award in the "Best Guest Actress -Drama" category for her role in THE BAY and her performance also earned her a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting/Guest Actress in a Digital Daytime Drama Series. Among other stage accolades, the LA Drama Critics Circle has distinguished her with the Natalie Schafer Award and the LA Stage Alliance with an Ovation Award. She authored the wildly popular "Pandora" children's book series (Bloomsbury USA) and the New York Times Bestseller "The Secret Life of Damian Spinelli" (Hyperion). She also hosts her radio program, "Animal Magnetism" dedicated to animal preservation and conservation.
