According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bill Eichner is the latest comedian to premiere a new comedy special on Netflix. This special will be the Emmy-Nominated host of Billy On The Street's first ever stand up special.

The Hollywood Reporter states "Eichner's comedy special is described as a unique blend of comedy and music that will cover politics, pop culture and may also include some brand-new editions of his signature, Emmy-nominated Billy on the Streetsegments. A filming date and title for the special have not yet been determined, though it is expected to be produced this year."

Billy Eichner is an American comedian, actor, writer, and television personality, commonly focusing on self-deprecation and pop culture. He is the star, executive producer and creator of Funny Or Die's Billy on the Street, a comedy game show that airs on truTV. Eichner was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Game Show Host" in 2013. He is also known for playing Craig Middlebrooks on the sitcom Parks and Recreation. Eichner starred in the Hulu original series DIFFICULT PEOPLE alongside Julie Klausner and is currently involved in the seventh season of American Horror Story, which premiered on September 5, 2017.

Eichner is among several other comedians to sign a deal with Netflix. The streaming organization has recently recruited some of the biggest names in comedy for specials such as Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Amy Schumer, and Dave Chappelle. Recently the streaming giant announced it would stream a comedy special from Steve Martin and Martin Short's current tour.
