According to The Hollywood Reporter, GAME OF THRONES star Emilia Clarke has signed on for the upcoming independent thriller VOICE FROM THE STONE.
The project, set in 1950s Tuscany, is based upon Silvio Raffo's novel LA VOCE DELLA PIETRA and adapted by Andrew Shaw, and will mark Eric D. Howell's directorial debut.
The film "centers on a nurse (Clarke) who is helping a boy through the trauma of his mother's sudden death. As she works with the troubled child, she becomes ensnared by a malevolent force inside the family's castle."
Production on the film will kick off this November in Italy.
Clarke is well known for her portrayal of 'Daenerys Targaryen' in the Game of Thrones TV series and just made her first foray onto the Broadway stage in Breakfast at Tiffany's last year. She will also play the iconic role of Sarah Connor in the upcoming TERMINATOR reboot, set to hit theaters on July 1, 2015.
