Austin, Texas production and creative agency, Emergent Order, has produced a series of six mini documentaries titled Revelations of Waco that accompany Paramount Network's hit TV mini-series, Waco, starring Michael Shannon and Taylor Kitsch. You can catch the third installment of the series tonight, Wednesday, February 7th at 10/9c on Paramount Network.
Waco is the first scripted drama to launch under Viacom's new Paramount Network brand (formerly Spike TV). It premiered as the best-rated drama series on ad-supported basic cable since August and drew 1.9M total viewers. Revelations of Waco is the latest project from Emergent Order, whose documentary work most-notably includes At the Fork, a feature documentary made in partnership with Whole Foods Market and the Humane Society of the United States.
"Having spent years inside the network working as part of the Spike brand creative team, pitching in to help with the Paramount Network launch effort feels like returning home," said Emergent Order CEO and former Spike TV creative director John Papola.
Revelations of Waco serves as a topical companion to each of the Waco episodes, which chronicle the 1993 siege of the Branch Davidians' religious sect compound in Waco, Texas. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the controversial siege that has sparked heated debate since the '90s, particularly regarding the federal government's aggressive approach, leading to the deaths of most members of the religious sect.Emergent Order ("EO") is an Austin, TX-based production and creative agency that develops and produces films, advertising, and digital content.
