VICELAND's Emmy-nominated "GAYCATION" featuring Ellen Page and Ian Daniel will present a special episode on Wednesday, August 24 at 10:00 PM (ET) focused on the aftermath of the shootings in Orlando, Florida. In addition, the critically praised program will begin its second season on SEPTEMBER 7 at 10:30 PM (ET).
"GAYCATION PRESENTS: ORLANDO" will bring viewers to the emotional center of the worst mass shooting in American history and the single worst act of violence against the LGBTQ community ever.
The episode features Page and Daniel speaking with a widely diverse group of individuals affected by the heinous attack with voices audiences may not have heard before. From one survivor's harrowing story of escaping the Pulse night club to the impossible to imagine day in the life of one man who - in a single day - buried one pair of friends, changed his tie and attended the wedding of another. A glimmer of light showing that the seeds of love and recovery for Orlando are possible and the strength of the community -- LGBTQ and beyond -- in Orlando will persevere.
