Ellen Burstyn and Blake Lively to Star in THE AGE OF ADALINE Film

Deadline reports that Ellen Burstyn will star alongside Blake Lively in Lee Toland Krieger's upcoming drama THE AGE OF ADALINE, from a script by J. Mills Goodloe and Salvador Paskowitz and revisions by Allison Burnett.

THE AGE OF ADALINE follows Adaline, a 29-year-old who stops aging after recovering from a near-fatal accident and decides to travel the world, only stopping when she meets a man who changes her forever.

Burstyn's upcoming big screen projects include Wish You Well, Enemy Way, The Calling, Flowers in the Attic, Draft Day, Interstellar, Diamond in the Dust and Scout. She recently appeared in the TV mini-series Political Animals, for which she won an Emmy Award this year.

Burstyn last appeared on Broadway in this year's Picnic. Her other Broadway credits include Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All, Sacrilege, Shimada, Shirley Valentine, 84 Charing Cross Road and Same Time, Next Year, as well as off-Broadway's The Little Flower of East Orange and The Children's Hour in the West End in 2011.

Lively is well known for her role as Serena van der Woodsen in TV's Gossip Girl. She last appeared on the big screen in Savages, Hick and Green Lantern. Other film credits include The Town, New York, I Love You, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and more.
