Maximum Warrior is a one-of-a-kind competition that tests 20 contestants in 15 action-packed, adrenaline-filled challenges. Presented by MAXIM, in partnership with the Jeep® Brand, Maximum Warrior just released its fifth webisode: Wadi Patrol. In this challenge, the Warrior's physical endurance and quick-thinking, split-second reasoning skills were put to the ultimate test. Each competitor had to maneuver through the Wadi sand pit course on foot as fast as possible. While traversing sand, unusual rock formations, dry riverbeds and more difficult terrain, the Warriors were presented with threat and non-threat targets throughout the course. Flash-bangs and smoke grenades were detonated to distract them from their mission. Penalties were applied for failure to engage enemy targets and for engaging non-threats. The Warrior with the slowest adjusted times was eliminated. The Wadi Patrol challenge was won by U.S. Marine Corps Reconnaissance Battalion Team Leader, Henry M. with the fastest time of 2:40, nearly half the time of the second place warrior.

The Wadi Patrol Course:

The Wadi Patrol Course posed serious physical encumbrances to the 10 Warriors as they had to run through loose sand, up and down hills and over large rocks. The course was designed to replicate terrain encountered in a real, desert combat environments such as dry riverbeds, uneven rock formations, sand dunes and more. The additional stresses of simulated explosions and needing to differentiate and engage mock enemy targets added to the challenge's level of difficulty.
