Mad Men and recent SPEED-THE-PLOW star Elisabeth Moss will guest star on the NBC drama "Mercy" on November 4th. "Mercy" airs on NBC 8-9 P.M. ET.

"Mercy," a new medical drama with a unique point of view, portrays the lives of the staff at Mercy Hospital as seen through the eyes of those who know it best -- its nurses. Nurse Veronica Callahan (Taylor Schilling, "Dark Matter") returns to Mercy from a military tour in Iraq -- and she knows more about medicine than all of the residents combined. Together with fellow nurses Sonia Jimenez (Jaime Lee Kirchner, "Rescue Me") and Chloe Payne (Michelle Trachtenberg, "Gossip Girl"), Veronica navigates through the daily traumas and social landmines of life and love both inside the hospital and out in the real world.

The cast also includes: James Tupper ("Men in Trees") as Dr. Chris Sands, a new doctor at the hospital who complicates Veronica's life; Diego Klattenhoff ("Supernatural") as Mike Callahan, Veronica's estranged husband; Guillermo Diaz ("Weeds") as Nurse Angel Lopez and James Le Gros ("Ally McBeal") as Dr. Harris.

"Mercy" is a Universal Media Studios and Berman Braun production. Joining writer/executive producers Liz Heldens (NBC's "Friday Night Lights") and Gretchen Berg & Aaron Harberts ("Pushing Daisies," "Pepper Dennis") are executive producers Gail Berman and Lloyd Braun. Emmy Award winner Adam Bernstein (NBC's "30 Rock," "Rescue Me") is the director.

Elisabeth Moss currently stars as Peggy Olson in the critically acclaimed Mad Men for which she nominated in 2008 for a SAG Award along with her Mad Men castmates for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. Moss' theatre credits include: Young Franny in Franny's Way presented by Playwrights Horizons at the Atlantic Theater Company. She also played the same role at the Geffen Playhouse, L.A. Other stage credits include: Big Tush/Little Tush at The Groundling Theatre, L.A., Sound of Music at The Academy Theatre, Chicago and Christmas Dragon with the Group Repertory Theatre, L.A. Elisabeth has also performed in The Nutcracker with The Joffrey Ballet and in Sleeping Beauty with The New York City Ballet. Film credits include: Buddy Gilbert Comes Alive, Day Zero, The Attic, The Missing, Girl, Interrupted, The Joyriders, Mumford, Imaginary Crimes and Virgin, for which she was nominated for a 2004 Independent Spirit Award of Best Female Lead and won the Director's Choice Award for Best Actress in the 2004 Sedona International Film Festival for the same role. She was also nominated for a 2001 Young Artist Award of Best Performance in a TV Drama Series for playing Zoey Bartlet in The West Wing.

She was last seen on Broadway in the recent revival of David Mamet's SPEED-THE-PLOW.
