Eileen Davidson to Return to DAYS OF OUR LIVES

As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Eileen Davidson will be returning to the long-running NBC daytime drama series DAYS OF OUR LIVES for the first time since 1998. The actress will reprise her role as Kristen Blake on the show. 

Davidson first appeared on the soap in October of 1993 as Blake, the foster daughter of Stefano DiMera. At the end of her run in 1998, viewers were first led to believe that she was dead after a corpse resembling her description was found floating in a pool. However it was later revealed that Blake was very much alive and was living on an island after being sold to a harem.

Commented the actress, "I'm thrilled to embark on this new adventure at Days and excited to revisit Kristen and who knows who else! Not to mention my old friends in the cast and crew."

Davidson was last seen in the role of Ashley Abbott on The Young & the Restless. She joins fellow Days castmates Kristian Alfonso, Charles Shaughnessy and Lisa Rinna in her return to the series.
