The latest adventure for the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" team finds them helping a deserving family from Cocoa, Florida who fly to disasters all over the world bringing water purifiers, medical supplies and food to those in need. On Friday, January 7, international relief workers Joe and Cindy Hurston, along with their children -- Juliet, 16, Peter, 12 and four-year old Dieunika -- learned they would be the latest recipients of a home makeover.

For over 25 years, Joe, a pilot and the tireless founder of Air Mobile Ministries, and his wife, Cindy, a former nurse, have been on a quest to provide clean water to a thirsty world. They have accomplished this by spearheading efforts to install life-giving water purifiers in disaster ravaged and often dangerous areas around the globe. In 2009, while the family was away, a pipe broke in the upstairs bathroom of their home, flooding and destroying the house and most of their personal property. The family continue to live in the flood-damaged home without water and, ironically, have had to use the same water purification system that they've provided to thousands of others.

Joe and Cindy had been passionate about helping in Haiti even years before the devastating 2010 earthquake. They adopted two orphans from the country, Dieunika, when she was two years old, and Juliet, when she was three. Juliet has a passion for service ingrained in her; the teenager spearheads community service initiatives and rallies her friends to get involved. And Peter has participated in missions to deliver water purifiers and is learning how to fly so he can follow in his parents' footsteps.

The Hurston family will go on vacation to San Diego, California, while "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" team leader Ty Pennington, designers Michael Moloney, Paige Hemmis and Eduardo Xol, local builder LifeStyle Homes and community volunteers rebuild their home.

The location address is: 5560 Fan Palm Ave., Cocoa, FL 32927

"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" is produced by Endemol USA, of Endemol Holding, and executive-produced by Brady Connell & George Verschoor. David Goldberg is Chairman, Endemol North America.
