ESPN2 will televise the NBA DRAFT Combine powered by Under Armour from 3-7 p.m. ET, on Thursday, May 11 and Friday, May 12. The event emanates from the Quest Multisport Complex in Chicago, Ill. This is the first in a series of ESPN 2017 NBA DRAFT events, which also includes the 2017 NBA DRAFT Lottery presented by State Farm (May 16) and the 2017 NBA DRAFT (June 22).
The
ESPN2 telecasts will include whip-around coverage from strength and agility drills and the four scheduled five-on-five scrimmages throughout Thursday and Friday. Simultaneously, ESPN3 will carry six surround feeds (no-step vertical leap, maximum vertical leap, pro lane agility, ¾ court sprint, pro lane shuttle drill and scrimmages) for the NBA Combine from 3-7 p.m. both days. The 2017
NBA DRAFT Combine will also be streaming via WatchESPN and the
ESPN app.
NBA player Frank Kaminsky (Charlotte Hornets) will serve as a guest analyst for the
ESPN2 telecasts. He will join the main crew, led by Rece Davis, who will serve as both host and play-by-play commentator during this year's coverage. Davis will be joined by a variety of
ESPN basketball analysts, including Jay Williams (college basketball analyst), Fran Fraschilla (college basketball analyst, International expert) and Tom Penn (NBA analyst, front office expert). Additionally, Jeff Goodman (college basketball reporter) will serve as reporter.
ESPN will exclusively televise the 2017
NBA DRAFT Lottery presented by State Farm on Tuesday, May 16, at 8:30 p.m. prior to the NBA Western Conference Finals game at 9 p.m. (either Game 1 or Game 2). Additionally,
ESPN will exclusively televise the 2017
NBA DRAFT on Thursday, June 22, at 7 p.m.
