ESPN will be home to one of the most significant regular-season nights in NBA history on Wednesday, April 13, as the Golden State Warriors chase the all-time wins record. They will host the Memphis Grizzlies on ESPN at 10:30 p.m. ET. It will either be a record-tying or record-setting attempt, contingent on the result of Golden State's game against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, April 10. The Warriors are currently 71-9 after tonight's win at Memphis.
In addition, one of the NBA's greatest players ever, Kobe Bryant, will play in his final game as the Los Angeles Lakers host the Utah Jazz on ESPN2, also at 10:30 p.m. Both games will be available via WatchESPN.
(Note: ESPN's Golden State-Memphis telecast on April 13 will be subject to local blackout in the Golden State Warriors' television territory).
ESPN has also added the Miami Heat at Boston Celtics telecast to its April 13 schedule at 8 p.m., which will lead in to the Golden State-Memphis game. It replaces the previously scheduled Orlando Magic at Charlotte Hornets game.
ESPN will soon announce additional cross-platform coverage plans, including commentator assignments, for this historic night.
