ESPN today announced its game selection for the June 11 edition of the exclusive, full-national SUNDAY NIGHT BASEBALL telecast presented by Taco Bell: The Boston Red Sox and Mookie Betts will host the Detroit Tigers and Miguel Cabrera from Fenway Park at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. Needham, Ma., native Karl Ravech will call the matchup with analysts Jessica Mendoza and Aaron Boone and reporter Buster Olney. BASEBALL TONIGHT: SUNDAY NIGHT COUNTDOWN presented by Chevrolet will lead into the telecast at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
June 11 will mark the second
SUNDAY NIGHT BASEBALL telecast from Fenway Park this season and the second appearance for the Detroit Tigers.
On deck: May 21 on Sunday Night Baseball, the Tigers will host the Texas Rangers from Comerica Park at 8 p.m. on ESPN. As part of ESPN's Sunday from the Seats series - a production initiative in which ESPN's MLB commentator teams call games from a unique location inside the ballpark - Dan Shulman, Mendoza and Boone will call the game from the left field stands (weather permitting) with Olney reporting from the field.
