The Playstation Vue Crossover - basketball doubleheaders on ESPN and ESPN2 on Wednesday, Feb. 15 - will feature a mix of NBA and college basketball analysts on the call of each game.
NBA action starts at 7 p.m. ET on
ESPN with the Cleveland Cavaliers at Indiana Pacers with Dick Vitale and Bill Walton on the call. A look into the past, the Vitale-Walton duo called the network's first airing of a high school game, in which LeBron James was a senior at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School (Ohio). They will be joined by Dave Pasch and reporter Lisa Salters. ESPN3 will feature a secondary feed of the game telecast that includes a camera solely dedicated to Vitale, Walton and Pasch throughout the game.
The NBA nightcap of the New York Knicks at the Oklahoma City Thunder at 9:30 p.m., will feature NFL Insider Adam Schefter, who will be working his first game as an NBA reporter. Also calling the game is Ryan Ruocco and analysts Dan Dakich and Jeff Van Gundy.
The college doubleheader begins at 7 p.m. on
ESPN2 as Dave O'Brien, analysts P.J. Carlesimo and Kara Lawson and reporter Holly Rowe are courtside for the Big 12 matchup of Iowa State at Kansas State. The action continues with an ACC top-25 showdown between No. 18 Duke at No. 12 Virginia at 9 p.m. Karl Ravech, analysts Jay Bilas and Doug Collins, plus reporter Maria Taylor, will be on the call of the game.
Studio programming for the
ESPN games will come from the network's Los Angeles Production Center with host Cassidy Hubbarth, along with analysts Jay Williams and Chauncey Billups, while studio for the
ESPN2 games will originate from Bristol, Conn., featuring Rece Davis, Seth Greenberg and Jalen Rose.
