ESPN released the final rankings for the class of 2016 with Duke commit Harry Giles remaining No.1 overall in the ESPN 100, while Kansas commit Josh Jackson jumps to the No. 2 spot.

"After evaluating the class of 2016 for years, it developed into one of the strongest classes we have seen in recent history," said Paul Biancardi, national recruiting director. "While the class doesn't necessarily have franchise or NBA-level athletes like Anthony Davis, Jahlil Okafor or Andrew Wiggins, it does have heavy star power and future stars in the making. The class has no weak positions, and with quality depth throughout, we expect that talent to blossom over time."

Kentucky has secured five commits in the Top 25, three in the Top 10, of ESPN 100 with No. 5 Edrice (Bam) Adebayo, Jordan Brand Classic Co-MVPs No. 6 DeAaron Fox and No. 9 Malik Monk, No. 14 Wenyen Gabriel and No. 24 Sasha Killeya. Including Giles, the No. 1 recruit, Duke also has three commits in the Top 10 with No. 3 Jayson Tatum and No. 10 Frank Jackson.

Biancardi added "Last year in college basketball, it was about the outstanding seniors and some dynamic freshmen. Next year, college basketball will be saturated with talent from the freshmen class. The 2017 NBA Draft will be one of the most exciting in years."

Of the 100 athletes, only six remain uncommitted. The final 2016 recruiting class rankings will be released on Wednesday, April 27. Class rankings may change as the remaining athletes make their college announcements.
