ESPN will celebrate the 45th anniversary of Title IX this week with cross-platform content across television, digital and radio, including a 24-hour marathon of live and classic women's sports programming airing across ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN Classic on Friday, June 23 - the date Title IX was enacted in 1972. In addition, espnW.com will offer weeklong coverage and features beginning today and a number of vignettes and interstitials will air throughout ESPN's television and radio shows.

Beginning at midnight ET on June 23, a 24-hour marathon of live and classic women's sports programming will air on ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN Classic, highlighted by the live presentation of the WNBA matchup between Elena Delle Donne's Washington Mystics and Maya Moore's Minnesota Lynx. In addition, ESPN Classic will air all of the original episodes from the acclaimed NINE FOR IX short film series, as well as NCAA Women's Basketball Championship games from the most storied rivalries in history, including the 2000, 2003 and 2004 tilts between the University of Connecticut Huskies and the Tennessee Lady Vols. On ESPNU, several 2016-17 women's college championships will re-air throughout the day.
