ESPN Deportes Presents 2017 Caribbean Series

Exclusive multiplatform coverage of the Series live from Culiacan, Mexico, featuring Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Cuba and Mexico, leading up to the 2017 World Baseball Classic. ESPN DEPORTES presents exclusive, multimedia live coverage of the 2017 Caribbean Series from Culiacan, Mexico, starting on Wednesday, February 1 at 5 p.m. ET with Alazanes de Granma (Cuba) vs. Tigres de Licey (Dominican Republic), followed by Criollos de Caguas (Puerto Rico) vs. Águilas de Mexicali (Mexico) at 10 p.m. on TV and Radio. The television coverage begins with the Opening Ceremony at 9 p.m.

The network's coverage of the Series includes extensive analysis across television, radio and digital platforms, in addition to the latest news stories and highlights on ESPNDeportes.com. ESPN Deportes' baseball experts Ernesto Jerez, Luis Alfredo Alvarez, Jorge Eduardo Sanchez, Eitan Benezra will lead the play by play with Carolina Guillen and Guillermo Celis, serving as on field reporters for the games. Renato Bermudez, Jose Francisco Rivera, Cristian Moreno along with Orlando "El Duke" Hernandez will call the games on ESPN DEPORTES Radio.

This year, the 13 scheduled games will be held at the Tomateros Stadium in Culiacan, Mexico. The Series will end on Tuesday, February 7, at 9 p.m. ET with the live transmission of the Final game on ESPN DEPORTES and ESPN DEPORTES Radio.

The Caribbean Series precedes the highly-anticipated World Baseball Classic, which begins Monday, March 6 featuring the best baseball players in the world, representing 16 nations. ESPN DEPORTES will be the Spanish-language home of the event with live coverage of all games and extensive news and information across all platforms.
