ESPN today announced an all-star roster of NBA game commentators for the 2016-17 season. ESPN senior coordinating producer Tim Corrigan, who will again lead ESPN's and ABC's NBA game coverage, commented on this season's team:
"Our primary objective this year and every year is to educate, inform and entertain, as we document the NBA season from the opening tip of preseason to the hoisting of the Larry O'Brien Trophy. We've assembled a premier lineup of experienced, knowledgeable and passionate NBA play-by-play voices who will tell the story of the 2016-17 season."
ESPN commentators expected to regularly contribute to
ESPN NBA game coverage:
Play-by-play: Mike Breen, Mark Jones, Dave Pasch, Ryan Ruocco;
Analysts: Jeff Van Gundy, Mark Jackson, Hubie Brown, Doug Collins, Doris Burke.
In addition, mainstays Doris Burke and Lisa Salters will once again spearhead a gifted cast of game reporters throughout the season.
Doug Collins: the former NBA head coach and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Curt Gowdy Media Award recipient, will transition to a full-time game analyst role for
ESPN this season. Collins had primarily served as an
