EPIX, the premium entertainment network, announced today that the EPIX app will be available on the PlayStation4 (PS4) system in November 2013. EPIX will be the first premium TV network to launch an authenticated app on the new PS4 system expanding the network's current streaming deal with Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC (SCEA) from April 2013, which also includes the PlayStation3 (PS3) system.

A leader in multiplatform availability, EPIX provides authenticated subscribers access to more than 3,000 titles on-demand, including a high definition lineup of top blockbusters - The Avengers, Skyfall, The Hunger Games, Flight, Mission: Impossible-Ghost Protocol, and more - plus classic Hollywood franchises including Star Trek, James Bond and Tyler Perry's Madea. The network also offers award-winning and thought-provoking original documentaries such as Amar'e Stoudemire: In the Moment, TWA Flight 800 and Schooled: The Price of College Sports, plus music and comedy specials featuring Madonna, Coldplay, Louis CK, Ben Stiller and more.

"We look forward to continuing our relationship with SCEA to offer subscribers a unique and unparalleled experience," said Mark Greenberg, EPIX CEO and President. "EPIX is committed to providing the best content in every way consumers want it, and working with our technology and distribution partners to create better entertainment experiences across all platforms."

The ability to stream full movies and concerts on the PS4 system is included as part of the EPIX premium subscription service available through cable, satellite and telco distributors. The EPIX app will be available to PlayStationNetwork members in the U.S. as a free download from PlayStationStore. For more information, please visit www.epix.com/ps4-on-epix-faq.

"Together our goal is to deliver great content to our customers in as many ways as possible."
